Warranty Policy

The 100 Year J.Guillem Frame Warranty Terms And Conditions

The manufacturer warrants that new frames are "free of defective materials and workmanship" for the original owner. However, the guarantee has significant limitations.

Coverage Exclusions

The warranty does not apply to frames used in trick riding, ramp riding, jumping, aggressive riding, severe terrain conditions, heavy loads, or commercial activities. Normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect, improper assembly, maintenance issues, alterations, crashes, collisions, and misuse all void coverage.

Claim Requirements

Owners must present the bicycle to an authorized dealer with original proof of purchase. The manufacturer determines whether replacement or repair occurs — cash refunds are not offered. Owners bear all shipping costs to and from dealers. Using unauthorized repair services or parts voids the warranty entirely.

Should The Worst Happen

If a frame sustains crash damage outside normal warranty coverage, the manufacturer offers replacement frames at 50% of current retail price (shipping included within Europe). The original damaged frame must be returned.

J.Guillem Re-Certification Program

The 100-year warranty transfers to subsequent owners through re-certification. The process involves contacting the manufacturer with the original invoice number, shipping the frame for inspection, and paying €180 (including return shipping). The manufacturer then reassigns warranty coverage.

Other Parts Warranty

J.Guillem titanium components carry two-year coverage against defects. Non-J.Guillem parts fall under individual manufacturer warranties.
